There are numerous colleges and universities that offer degrees in welding and welding technology besides the one's mentioned. The Pennsylvania College of Technology is another school that also ranks high in the nation.
I do not know of any colleges or universities that offer a degree in welding. However, you will find that most vocational technical schools do. Contact the vocational technical school in your county for more information. If you are a working adult, you will find they most likely will offer evening classes. If you can, I would recommend that you stay away from private technical schools. They are businesses and very expensive in most cases.
I recommend you search online, but 3 that do for a fact, Ferris State and Ohio state (arguably the top 2 in the nation for bachelor degrees) and Washtenaw Community College, in Ann Arbor (the number one facility in the nation (only associates degree)
