Metals and alloys question?

1 个回答 悬赏0分 距离有效期还有 0 天

Please list the following metals and alloys in weakest to strongest order. Here's how I think it does, but I'm not sure.
Gold, Tin, Copper, Bronze, Iron, Steel, Titanium, Titanium Alloy
Also, what metals go into Titanium Alloy? Obviously titanium, but what else? Any from the list?
I put this in the chemistry section because I wasn't sure where to put it. There's not metallurgy section.

If it's yield strength, a more accurate ordering may be Tin, Copper, Gold, Iron, Bronze, Titanium, Steel, Titanium Alloy (comes from MPa yeild strengths quoted on a variety of websites, often by Googling something like "yield strength gold") For all of the alloys, the answer is a bit imprecise because it depends on the exact composition and manufacturing process. For instance, there are SOME specialty steels that are stronger than most titanium alloys. To answer your 2nd question, some elements that go into titanium alloys are aluminum, zirconium, molybdenum, and bismuth. Chem section posting seems OK; could've also used "engineering"
