What is the manufacturing process for tungsten carbide tool tips?

For a college piece of coursework we need to draw a diagram of the manufacturing process but I'm not sure which is the most popular process and everywhere I look I get different answers.
If anyone could tell me what the best process to make tungsten carbide tool tips is then it would be muchly appreciated.
Usually the WC is prepared as a powder, formed to shape in a press, free sintered, then HIPped [Hot Isostatically Pressed]. THey are then brazed onto the tool
