In a sintering process, how does Cobalt contribute in terms of hardness to the sintered product?

The other powders in the mixture are Tungsten Carbide, Iron and Bronze. The sintering temperature is 850 deg C. The Pressure on the powder is 350 Kg/cm2

    Cobalt is the binder. It is the 'glue' that holds the carbide (or other) particles together.
