im a freshman interested in a career in welding...can yall give me the basics of what a welder does...where he works...how much he makes ect. Thanks

I find jobs for people for a living. Why do you want to weld so bad? Art? If you do really consider the money is in steel workers but if you dislike heights that is not for you. I see you might make 17-18 per hour nonunion. There is also a study on the effects of the welding rods and altimers. If it is trades you want to get into try electrican or plumber, you will always need light and water. You need to think what will still be there 20 yrs from now.
