If i get some angled stainless steel to weld together to make a frame..will the weld spots still be "stainless"? In other words: will the weld spots on stainless steel be as corrosion resistant as the rest?
You need stainless steel welding rod. If you use regular rod, it will rust and corrode. Stainless welding rod will look exactly like the parent material. You will get residue as you weld, but it cleans right off.
