If you take it to a weld shop and they say they can weld it run the other way. It would be too dangerous to trust your life on a few bucks as opposed to getting a new wheel. If you are going to drive at speed it could come apart. Some wheels are heat treated. Try to pick up a copy wheel at an auto graveyard (unless it is a one of a kind).
